Larocque

Geneviève earned her bachelor's degree in biomedical sciences from Université de Montréal. Fascinated by the molecular mechanisms of brain diseases, she pursued a master's degree and joined the SamLab in 2026. Under the co-direction of Dr. Flamier at the Ste Justine Hospital Research Center, her research focuses on uncovering the pathological mechanisms related to RFC1 repeat expansions in cerebellar organoids.

“I joined the SamLab because I have a strong interest in studying neurological diseases at the molecular and cellular levels. I am happy to have the opportunity to contribute to the lab's engaging projects”

Aside from the lab Geneviève enjoys enjoy painting, baking and traveling.
