Samarut
Éric is a Ph.D. in molecular aspects of life sciences from Université de Strasbourg. After a post-doc at the University of Montreal, where he studied the molecular basis of neurogenesis, he specialized in the functional genomics of rare diseases. He opened the SamLab at the CRCHUM in September 2020. He also strongly advocates for scientific entrepreneurship, particularly in drug development. He graduated with an MBA in 2017 and HMX certificates from the Harvard Medical School, specializing in clinical pharmacology and gene therapy.
“More than just a research lab, I would love the Samlab to be a place of personal and professional growth, beyond science, for those who stop by.”
Aside from the lab, Éric enjoys spending time with family and friends and... thinking of the lab (urgh)
